A haircut, ice cream cone, and some eggs

Jon Daniel had his first haircut on Thursday! Even though he doesn't have much hair, it was getting a little long around his ears, so Ms. Erin gave him a little trim. He did so good even though he needed a little coaching from Daddy (those Smarties helped a little too!).

Thanks to Korey's return to the Sugar Shack, Jon Daniel enjoyed his very first ice cream cone on Thursday (a busy day for us)! This wasn't his first ice cream, just the first he'd ever had in a cone. He managed to eat all of the sherbert and tried the cone, but didn't care for it. He even had to leave the Sugar Shack in his diaper because he was covered in the sticky aftermath!

After our return home from the Sugar Shack, Drew decided that Jon Daniel needed to show me how he had been practicing how to 'find' Easter eggs. They had been practicing for several days in prepration for the big weekend coming up. He did so well and enjoyed picking up his eggs.

Wish List Wednesday

I am 'stealing' the Wish List Wednesday idea from a friend, hope she doesn't mind!! I am really wanting to take some photography courses and become a 'pro'. However, in order to do that I am going to need to find a tree that grows money and I am gonna need this sweet camera. It is a Nikon D90. I got to drool, I mean play with it Saturday and boy was it love at first sight!! I am hoping to start taking photos on the side so that I can adequately justify this bad boy to Drew.
